AL OSRA RESTAURANT in Doha

i just had a meal over here . It was completely disaster . i have ordered one chicken lababdaar , plain pratha , wheat partha and a green salad. First of all i have asked for hot water which has been served at the last of my meal. The mint chutney they have served me was spoiled already . they gave me a heap of papad which is of no use for single person, wheat paratha was under cooked, gravy of the curry was delicious but the chicken used inside was just boiled which must be added lately. the salad portion was so huge that 3 people can not finish. i'll never visit again

Had the lunch over there, the service was good and it's an OK restaurant however the food needed more flavour. The low point of the lunch meal was definitely the sambar but the mango pickle totally made up for the mediocre sambar.

Nice service

No discipline at all, the staff is nt Co operative. They lie big time. The delivery took more then 2 hrs and still there was no apology from the restaurant. The quality is not good and on top the staff behavior is as if they are a fine dine restaurant. Very disappointed.

Good delicious Indian food.

Ordered 'non-veg pothichoru', a traditional Kerala cuisine. Ordering was quick and easy, Delivery was prompt, packing was perfect finally price was very less. Though the curry quantity was less the food was good for that price.

Gobi manchurian is too good....And I like their parotta. They have many kerala non vegetarian dishes and seating available inside. Home delivery also there. They provide catering service for parties. I must say the way they delivered food for party and packing just excellent.

Good Kerala food 🍲.I bit spicy though.It takes a long time to get the food served after ordering, even if there is no one else at the restaurant.Usually not crowded.Parking is tricky during peak time. No dedicated parking available.

Good meals & Good for buffet.But rate is on the higher side...

The lunch buffet was good; good spread of Indian food, taste nice and reasonably price. Although the setting and the ambiance needs to be updated for the buffet area. The dining area is fantastic. However, I find the service at the first floor is slower. Need more improvement. But the delivery is fantastic, fast and food still piping hot.

Very good for lunch buffet, now they have more non veg dishes, before best veg Kerala cuisine.

Regardless of price, food is very good and more delicious essentially that lunch meals. Besides, services are good but the problem is price because it's little expensive than you think. If you're the person who doesn't care about the price & only want a good taste, you can visit there. But I don't recommend for normal people like me.

Really tasty... Indian food

Over priced in terms of taste.

Food is very tasty.... So many verities also...

I like this restaurant. But I'm giving 3 stars because of the inconsistency in taste. One time their fish mango curry was amazing while other time it was not good at all(some hard white fish instead of king fish, oily and over spicy, not enough mangoes. Etc). Same with biryani, one time it was yummy but next time it was too oily and spicy. Portions are big though. I think they have the potential, just need to maintain the quality at all times.

Have been dining in, ordering home deliveries and availing catering services for parties at Al Osra since many years. They never fail to deliver on time while maintaining the same great authentic Indian tastes. The staff and management has always been great be it in house or out door catering. I would give an additional star for consistency.

Great service and wonderful food. Reception was very welcoming with smile and greetings. Food came faster than expected. The chicken kondatam was amazing with perfect balance of tangy and spice. The fish mango curry was truly an fantastic blend as perfect combination with appam and idiayappam. Would recommend for their service and food quality.

Total paisa vasool buffet, unlike most other Indian/Kerala restaurants in town which are just hype and paid reviews. This place is a an old hidden gem. New residents of the city don't know his place much. Management please note coz really we want you to stay longer :)

We had visited this place for having biriyani...i heard their biriyani is super, but when i tasted it it was very disgusting...at cash counter me and my friends told him the suggestion to please maintain their quality but he was not at all raedy to hear our side...
